A lot, actually. I'm no longer doing freelance work. I'm currently working for a local IT company; Where I work on web development, graphic design, marketing, and network security. I've always been a 'jack of all trades' kind of girl, so I like the variety that comes with my job. It never gets boring. Okay, so the days spent pouring over log files can be a bit tedious, but work can't always be fun, right?

However
, I have done numerous fun and interesting things over the past few months. I helped create and strategize an entire political campaign, for a very amazing woman who is sure to be a driving force for change for this area in the future. It was awesome to drive down the road and see I sign I helped create and seeing our artwork displayed on campaign banners, tee-shirts, and cars all around the area. Also, I have been fortunate enough to work with a few non-profit and not-for-profit agencies and organizations. I voluteered my services and designed fliers for our local homeless shelter. Our company has also been doing quite a bit of work with another agency that specializes in working with children and families. In addition, I've been lucky enough to come in contact with an eclectic range of clients and have become involved with local business organizations and groups.

Another huge change in my life? School. I'm currently a humanities major at a local college. I'd like to eventually transfer to a four-year school and major in International Relations. I haven't decided on which school yet. At this point I think I'll be a life-time learner. I really do enjoy school and learning. I haven't decided yet what I will do with this degree. It really depends on whether or not I still love school. If I still love it, I may go on to study Human Rights law. If I don't, there's always the PEACE Corps. or working for political campaigns. Either way, I will be happy.

Leisure? Well, it just wouldn't be like me to not be having fun, right? I'm currently planning my first 'real' vacation in years. By 'real' I mean one that involves a plane, a hotel, and surely requires a passport. Yes, it's still a big world to me and yes, I still want to see all of it.

PLEASE NOTE: I am currently only doing design/development through the company I am working for. I do not do side work. I am tired of 1099 forms. I am not interested in 'trading services.' While I do volunteer my services occasionally, it's only for causes I feel strongly about and only with my employer's consent. If you're interested in hiring our company, please follow one of the contact links below and we will set up a meeting. Thanks!
